Alex G.
Alex is our Head Chef, born in the Lake Como area, North Western Italy. Alex has spent 5 years running Italian restaurants in some of London’s most exclusive private member’s clubs.
Whilst Alex’s cooking remains firmly rooted in the Northern Italian tradition, his career has seen him travel globally with positions in Amsterdam, New York and Switzerland.
Alex has previously worked alongside Antonio Carluccio at his fine-dining Neal Street Restaurant and at Prism, within Harvey Nichols Leadenhall Street building. Alex and Chef Daniele Pampagnin have been friends and colleagues for many years and Mister Chef is a dream project for both of them.
Ricky D.
Born in Venice in 1977, Ricky D. is the creative force behind Mister Chef, working in partnership with fellow Chef and friend, Alex G.
Ricky brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of Italian culinary traditions to Mister Chef, with a special emphasis on Venetian cuisine. Ricky has worked across the globe in a number of high-end restaurants and private member’s clubs, including Cecconi’s and Soho House in London.
Ricky is passionate about local sourcing and supporting Italian producers and for Mister Chef will source cheese and cured meats from Piedmont suppliers and olive oil blended in the Puglia region.
Matt F.
Born in Alghero, on the island of Sardinia Matt comes to Mister Chef having previously worked at The Collection Restaurant and Soho House.
Matt brings to Mister Chef a strong knowledge and intense passion for Italian wines and oversaw the conception of the restaurant’s all-Italian wine and Prosecco list. Mister Chef is proud to serve wines by a selection of small, independent producers as well as a range of biological wines through its supplier Passione Vino. The list is very accessible from a price point of view, with the aim of opening up a host of new wine discoveries to people whatever their budget. Matt also recommends the creative cocktails that make up the bar list, from the Anita Ekberg to the Mister Chef Spritz.
Matt has previously worked with Mister Chef friends and colleagues, Ricky D. and Alex G. He is keen to translate the energy of this friendship into all aspects of the Mister Chef experience.
